Payment methods
On crypto casinos, you have several ways to deposit: directly in cryptocurrency, or by card through a purchase platform that converts your money into crypto. Here's an overview of the options.
Main cryptocurrencies
Bitcoin (BTC)
The first and best-known cryptocurrency. It's the reference currency, accepted on virtually all crypto casinos.
Ethereum (ETH)
The second-largest cryptocurrency, also serving as the base for many other tokens. Widely supported on gaming platforms.
Litecoin (LTC)
Often described as the "light and fast" version of Bitcoin, with lower transaction fees and faster confirmations.
Solana (SOL)
A recent blockchain known for its speed and very low fees, making it convenient for frequent deposits and withdrawals.
XRP (Ripple)
Originally designed for fast money transfers between institutions, it offers near-instant, low-cost transactions.
USDT and USDC (stablecoins)
Their value tracks the dollar. Handy for keeping your balance from swinging with crypto prices between your deposit and your withdrawal.
Mistakes that cost you
- The wrong network. The same token can run on several networks (for example USDT on Tron, Ethereum or Solana). The network you pick when sending must be exactly the one the casino shows, or the funds can be lost.
- The forgotten tag or memo. For some cryptos like XRP, the address comes with a "tag" (or memo). Without it, your deposit may never get credited.
- An address mistake. A crypto transaction can't be reversed: always copy-paste the address and check the start and end.
- Your first transfer. Start with a small test deposit before sending a large amount.
Fees and timing
- Fees: they depend on the network. Ethereum is usually the most expensive; Tron, Solana and Litecoin are often much cheaper.
- Deposits: credited after a few confirmations on the network, often within minutes.
- Withdrawals: the casino has to approve the request first, then the transfer usually takes a few minutes to a few hours.
Depositing by card on a crypto casino
You don't need to already own crypto to play on these platforms. Third-party services, called "on-ramps", let you buy crypto directly with your card, then send it to your casino account.
๐ก It's simple: you pay by card on the service (Kraken, MoonPay, Swapped...), you receive the equivalent in crypto, and you send it to your wallet or directly to the casino.
These same platforms also work the other way around: you can withdraw your winnings in crypto and convert them back to euros directly to your bank account via Kraken, MoonPay or Swapped.
Classic methods
Some partner casinos also accept more traditional payment methods, alongside or instead of crypto.
๐ณ Card (debit/credit)
Visa, Mastercard... the classic deposit method, fast and simple, with no conversion step.
๐ฆ Bank transfer
Slower than a card, but useful for larger amounts or if you'd rather not use a card online.
๐ Gift card
Some platforms accept prepaid or gift cards as an alternative deposit method.
โ Other methods
Depending on the casino, you may also find e-wallets or other local payment solutions.
